Eating Vegan in Reykjavik – Glo Restaurant

On our third night in Reykjavik, we visited Glo Restaurant on Laugavegur St.  Glo is known for their organic vegetables and everything on their menu is vegan.  They do a really good job of marking their menu with not only vegan but gluten-free options as well.

I got the Indian Dahl Bowl and my husband got the BBQ Bowl.  Some of the bowl options are not completely Paleo as some of them contain rice or quinoa but there are others that have vegetable spaghetti as their base.

The bowls were both delicious and I have to say if we had discovered this place earlier, I might have gone here for every dinner!  The food was good and the prices were reasonable (by Icelandic standards) – each bowl was about $15.  If you’re in Reykjavik and you’re Vegan this is the perfect place for you, if you’re Paleo or AIP you might have to be a little more careful but I definitely still think it’s a good option.
