I have been really sad this weekend…Starbucks brought back it’s Pumpkin Spice Latte and for the first year ever I couldn’t run and get one. You see, pumpkin is one of my favorite flavorings in the world and when you combine coffee and pumpkin it’s just pure joy.
So, this weekend I decided to come up with my own Pumpkin Spice Latte that I could enjoy at home that was gluten free, dairy free and sugar free. Can you guess how many grams of sugar is in a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte? 50 grams! The 1 TBSP of maple syrup in this recipe only has 14 grams and it’s natural.

1 Cup Brewed Coffee
3/4 Cup Coconut or Almond Milk
1 TBSP Maple Syrup
2 TBSP Pumpkin Puree
1/2 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract (omit if AIP)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and heat on medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Pour into blender and blend until frothy and serve.
